Fabiola is a self-taught doll maker, originally from Mexico and now living in Canada. She combines storytelling,her love for nature and fibers, plus her skills acquired over 14 years in dollmaking to create one-of-a-kind fiber art dolls. She will offer two classes at our event and is currently developing this new material for future students.
Workshop: Make a Jointed Art Doll with Fig & Me
8"-10" doll, poseable fiber art doll

When: 1, June - 2, June 2023 or 3, June - 4, June 2023
In this 2 day workshop we will create a small wool doll with moveable arms, legs, elbows and knees by using joints, needle felting and sculpting. Doll will be approximately 8" to 10" tall and I will teach you in small size how to achieve incredible movement on your fiber art dolls.
Registration opens 21, January, but full booking will only be guaranteed once you make your full payment, in April 2023.

*Quoted price is mainly for the tuition and includes some of the materials that we will be using in the workshop.
You will have to buy and bring most materials and tools yourself. A thorough list will be provided upon successful payment in April.
